Nora de Izcue Nora de Izcue started her career as a director in the 1970s. She became involved in trade union activity and in thinking about Peruvian cinema. Thus, the first part of the profile dedicated to Nora de Izcue has to do with her participation in guilds, associations, trade unions and as a member of the New Latin American Cinema Foundation in Cuba. This valuable archive of documents has been organised by researcher Sara Lucía Guerrero. Nora’s audiovisual work began to be preserved in 2018, thanks to the Peruvian Ministry of Culture.
